Chilli Lovers Chiko

Can you handle the heat? The ultimate chilli lovers loaded Chiko.

Cooking Tips: Try scoring Chiko pastry only and drizzling sweet chilli sauce around the Chiko filling before topping with chillis and squeezing to close.

Ingredients

1 frozen Chiko Roll
1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
finely sliced red and green chillies

Method

Step 1
Cook frozen Chiko Roll following air fryer packet directions.

Step 2
Cut cooked Chiko Roll pastry lengthways down the centre, being careful not to cut all the way through. Gently open Chiko Roll and drizzle with sweet chilli sauce. Sprinkle with sliced chilli and serve.

Ingredients

1 frozen Chiko Roll
100g frozen Birds Eye Golden Crunch Chips - Thin and Crispy, cooked following packet directions
2 tablespoons grated mozzarella cheese
Gravy, for drizzling
Sliced spring onion, for garnish

Method

Step 1
Cook frozen Chiko Roll following air fryer packet directions.

Step 2
Fill serving basket with cooked, hot Birds Eye Chips and top with mozzarella.

Step 3
Top with Chiko Roll and drizzle with gravy. Garnish with spring onion and serve.

Mexican Loaded Chiko

Fresh salsa, mashed avocado and a crispy Chiko Roll. This might just be the perfect trio.

Ingredients

650g packet frozen Chiko Rolls
½ x 200g punnet mini roma tomatoes, chopped
125g can Edgell Corn Kernels, drained
½ red onion, finely chopped
2 small avocados, mashed
Chopped fresh coriander, for sprinkling

Method

Step 1
Cook frozen Chiko Roll following air fryer packet directions. Carefully cut Chiko Rolls into quarters using a serrated knife.

Step 2
Meanwhile, combine tomatoes, Edgell Corn Kernels and onion in a small bowl.

Step 3
Spread avocado on serving plates and top with tomato and corn salsa. Arrange Chiko pieces over the top. Sprinkle with coriander and serve.

 

American BBQ Chiko Dogs

Perfect for a party, these skewered Chikos are wrapped in bacon and smothered in your favourite sauces.

Ingredients

650g packet frozen Chiko Rolls
4 rashers streaky bacon
Barbecue sauce, for serving
American mustard, for serving
Tomato sauce, serving

Method

Step 1
Wrap frozen Chiko Rolls with bacon. Arrange on a baking paper lined tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes or until bacon is golden and Chiko Rolls are steaming hot.

Step 2
Carefully push a thick bamboo skewer lengthways into the centre of each cooked Chiko Roll.

Step 3
Serve with barbecue sauce, mustard and tomato sauce.
